Blackbird Publishing is a small independent press, where books are for the birds, and blackbirds are never, ever baked into pies.

We publish strange, beautiful, and haunting stories of myth, magic, and monsters—themed anthologies like The Haunted Anthology and A Procession of Faeries series—along with fiction by Jamie Ferguson, and the occasional book about publishing itself, like Bundle Up! A Practical Guide to Anthologies and Box Sets That Sell.

Blackbird is run by Jamie Ferguson, who has organized more than twenty multi-author projects with over a hundred authors. You can find her fiction and more at jamieferguson.com.

Blackbird also has a sister press: Borogrove Press, where new anthologies continue to hatch.
